Friends in Low Places

Ignoring my long to-do list, we opted for an adventure today, a treasure hunt of sorts. What we sought would be found down low, in the leafy part of the woods up the road. As we searched, we saw:
Wild violets wearing the palest mauve.

Tiny fairy wine goblets.

Torches for fairies who wander at night.

Itty-bitty green stars.

Fairy umbrellas ready for harvesting?

Beautiful scroll.

And a wild columbine, with a yellow fellow...look closely, in the lower right of the flower.

And then we found it!

We filled our pockets with acorns, and headed home. See tomorrow's post to find out why we went on this acorn-seeking quest!

  1. Oooh, I like the intrigue. I'll have to stay tuned to see what those acorns are up to.
