Violet observed that each time the salamander moved, it made a new letter.
After we dubbed him? her? an alphamander, we released him? her? back into his? her? dank, damp basementy home. I suppose the next question to pursue naturally, is how does one tell if a salamander is a girlamander or a salaboy?
I don't know how to tell the difference if it's a boy or a girl, but it sure is cute.
