nine lives

 I didn't need to look further than my own front porch for inspiration, although my memory provided the details for some of these felines, modeled on cats I've loved in my life. 

Murphy had a tale that drooped right over his face when he stretched. Solstice is so curvaceous that she splays her legs when she sits. Hodge had spots.
