Black and White Wednesday: Autumn Without Colour

A morning wander in the woods inspired a look at the textures and shapes of autumn, rather than the usual eye-candy of orange, red, yellow, burgundy, and brown. We saw

layers of lichen, like petticoats;

leggy cascades of cedar;

dried leaves, entwined like lovers about to be parted;

puzzle-piece negative space;

and this happy trio of mushroom blossoms!
